Official: Security Token Market Announces Partnership With Arca

MIAMI — April 12th, 2021 — Security Token Market (STM), a global leader of media and data for tokenized assets, has announced a partnership with Arca, a leading regulated financial institution in the digital asset space. Let’s meet the participants from STM:

Jonah Schulman is Head of Communications at STM and comes with a breadth of experience in the financial and blockchain sectors. He has been instrumental in building STM from virtually inception to its position as the unanimous leader in security token data and research. Prior to joining STM, Jonah had the opportunity to speak at conferences on behalf of various blockchain projects, as well as work as a financial consultant at Deloitte. Through his experience, he landed himself at the forefront of finance and blockchain via STM almost four years ago. Jonah also is the author of the 'What's Drippin' Newsletter' which promises subscribers they will laugh, learn, and stay at the forefront of finance every week. Jonah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. Jonah is elated to sit down with Arca and provide his wisdom and insight about security tokens!

Peter Gaffney is the Head of Research at Security Token Advisors, where he seeks to develop the security token ecosystem and act as a connecting point among the industry’s many organizations and services. Peter leads research and implementation for a range of clients that engage in consulting services provided by STA. Co-founding a small-scale cryptocurrency investment firm in 2017, his foray into the digital assets space and experiences with private equity and ETFs provide a strong blend for leveraging the power of tokenization. Peter published The State of Security Tokens 2022 — a 72-page breakdown of the security token industry and ecosystem — and publishes weekly tokenization concepts in his Tokenize This series. Peter studied Economics and Applied Statistics at the University of Michigan, and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Jerald David is President at Arca Labs. In his role, Jerald leads the innovation division responsible for creating registered digital securities and tokenized funds in partnership with financial companies. Jerald has over 17 years of executive team experience for both Fortune 500 and startup exchanges including CME, NYMEX, GreenX, and the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME). As one of the first employees at GreenX and DME, he helped build two successful global exchanges. Jerald holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business with a minor in Government from Franklin and Marshall College.

Annelise is the Head of Institutional for Arca Labs. In this role, Annelise is responsible for overseeing activities related to large-scale financial institutions, asset managers, and established companies in the financial and digital asset space. Annelise joins Arca Labs with over 20 years of experience in finance, credit, real estate, risk, structuring, governance, and digital assets. She previously worked in the digital asset space as COO of Propellr and spent 12 years at Moody’s Investor Service running commercial real estate teams within the structured finance group. Annelise holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of William and Mary.

Anthony is Head of Growth at Arca Labs. In his role, Anthony is responsible for the firm’s distribution, strategy, and roll-out of the Arca U.S. Treasury Fund and the development of SEC-regulated digital asset securities. Before joining Arca, Anthony was a Managing Director for ConsenSys Digital Securities, responsible for the firm’s sell-side origination and structuring. Anthony has over 20 years of investment banking and trading experience at leading firms, including HSBC Securities and Guggenheim Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the State University College at Buffalo and FINRA Series 7, 52 & 63 licenses.

Jeff Dorman is Chief Investment Officer at Arca. In his role, Jeff leads the investment committee and is responsible for portfolio sizing and risk management. Jeff has over 17 years of trading and asset management experience at leading firms including Merrill Lynch and Citadel, where he oversaw trading of over $100 million in proprietary capital. Jeff also served as COO of Harvest Exchange, a FinTech company that is widely utilized by asset managers and investors. Jeff is a CFA charter holder and holds a BA in Finance and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.

Rayne Steinberg is Chief Executive Officer at Arca. In his role, Rayne leads the overall direction of the company and is responsible for securities structuring and risk management. Rayne has a rich history of financial and entrepreneurial success with nearly two decades of experience. Prior to founding Arca, Rayne co-founded an asset management company, WisdomTree. There, he was responsible for raising capital, creating intellectual property, and building and overseeing the sales team responsible for raising $50 billion in ETF AUM. Rayne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business.
